The collar also features adjustable bark sensitivity and a training mode. The anti-bark function of the collar as well as the vibration correction can be switched off. The dog wears a collar with a miniature device on the neck. As soon as the dog barks, the collar registers (detects) the sound using the built-in microphone. When detected, the collar immediately triggers a warning vibration or ultrasound. The vibration is about the same intensity as is used for mobile phones. The dog will become alert to the vibration or ultrasound, but it is not painful for the dog. If you want to have an overview of when the collar corrects, activate the classic sound signal function. The signal will then sound whenever the corrections are activated. Depending on the temperament of the dog, it will take a few days to a few weeks before the dog realizes the connection between the inappropriate barking and the unpleasant signal. The usual reaction of the dog is, of course, to suppress the inappropriate barking. In addition, Bark Wise is a superior product in that it only prevents the dog from inappropriate barking, which is usually caused by boredom, attention seeking, etc. The high sensitivity of the sound resolution reacts only to inappropriate barking but does not correct the dog's instincts. In case of a threat, self-defense or pack guarding, the dog will continue to react naturally - by barking. The mode and settings of the collar are always indicated by the device's indicator light.

Bark detection

BarkWise Complete detects barking with its built-in microphone. Thanks to its high-resolution sensitivity, it corrects only inappropriate barking, e.g. to attract attention. It prevents false triggering of the collar by sounds in the surroundings and is also suitable for correcting howling.

Type of correction

BarkWise Complete corrects inappropriate barking with vibration and ultrasound. The correction may be uncomfortable for the dog, but it is not painful. An audible signal can be added to give you a clear view of the correction trigger. Both vibration correction and anti-bark mode can be switched off.

Collar settings

It does not have an increasing intensity of correction. It is a training method that the dog understands and thus learns what is required of him. The goal of correction is not an intense intervention to immediately silence the dog. This makes the method very gentle. The sensitivity to barking can be adjusted in several levels. The vibration and anti-bark collar function can be switched off and only training can be used.

Battery and charging

The collar is equipped with a fully rechargeable battery that stays in operation for 24 hours in standby mode.

Waterproofing

BarkWise is water resistant and thus suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It can withstand rain, snow, but is not designed for swimming or submersion.
