1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed, or the packaging was damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or it was exchanged for a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging, with at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15–40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have gone through servicing/refurbishment.

The warranty period for “as new” or “unboxed” condition is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” goods the warranty period is 12 months; for “heavily used” goods it is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

Then you’ll be pleased to know that GoodLife is no newcomer to the market and develops collars with high effectiveness and a minimal complaint return rate. The collar also features adjustable bark sensitivity and a training mode. The anti-bark function, as well as vibration correction, can be switched off. The dog wears the collar with a miniature device on its neck. As soon as the dog barks, the collar registers (detects) the sound using the built-in microphone. This is also the most reliable method of distinguishing barking, because the collar responds to the vibrations of your dog’s vocal cords. No random noise from the surroundings can therefore activate the collar. When detected, the collar immediately triggers a warning vibration or ultrasound. The vibration is approximately the same intensity as that used for mobile phones. The dog will pay attention to the vibration or ultrasound, but they are not painful. If you want to keep track of when the collar corrects, also activate the classic audible signal function. The signal will then sound with every activation of the corrections. Depending on the dog’s temperament, it will take several days to a few weeks for the dog to realise the connection between inappropriate barking and the unpleasant signal. The dog’s usual response is, of course, suppression of inappropriate barking. Bark Wise is also a top-class product in that it prevents the dog only from inappropriate barking, which is often caused by boredom, trying to attract attention, etc. The high sensitivity of sound differentiation responds only to inappropriate barking, but does not correct the dog’s instincts. In the event of danger, self-defence or guarding the pack, the dog will continue to react naturally—by barking. The collar’s mode and settings are always indicated by the device’s indicator light.

Bark detection

BarkWise Complete detects barking using a built-in microphone. Thanks to high sensitivity of differentiation, it corrects only inappropriate barking, e.g. to attract attention. It prevents false activation of the collar by sounds in the surroundings and is also suitable for correcting howling.

Type of correction

BarkWise Complete corrects inappropriate barking with vibrations and ultrasound. The correction may be unpleasant for the dog, but it is not painful. For a clear overview of when correction is triggered, an audible signal can also be added. Both vibration correction and anti-bark mode can be switched off.

Collar settings

It does not have increasing correction intensity. It is a training method that the dog understands and thus learns what is required. The aim of the correction is not an intense intervention to silence the dog immediately. Thanks to this, the method is very gentle. Bark sensitivity can be set in several levels. Both the vibration function and the anti-bark collar function can be switched off and only training can be used.

Battery and charging

The collar is equipped with a fully rechargeable battery that remains in operation for 24 h in standby mode.

Water resistance

BarkWise is water resistant and is therefore suitable for use indoors and outdoors. It withstands rain and snow, but is not intended for swimming or immersion.

Breed

BarkWise is a very gentle yet effective solution. Therefore, use it without worry for dogs from the smallest to the largest.

Collar length

The sturdy nylon collar in four colour variants is adjustable and ensures comfort when worn. Fits neck circumference 15.3–61 cm.
