1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed, or the packaging was damaged and it was therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or it was exchanged by a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging and may have at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15–40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have been through service/refurbishment.

The warranty period for “as new” or “unboxed” condition is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” the warranty period is 12 months; for “heavily used” it is 6 months. The product can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

PetSafe® 100 is a small training collar with a 100 m range for all dog breeds from 5 to 90 kg. It is a suitable training assistant for dog enthusiasts, handlers and professional trainers. The Petsafe electronic collar features sound, vibration and static stimulation, adjustable in 15 levels. It offers easy operation with a backlit digital display with excellent readability. The safety lock function prevents accidental increases in stimulation, e.g. in your pocket. PetSafe 100 is supplied with a fully waterproof and submersible receiver up to 1.5 metres, however for a maximum of 30 minutes. Your dog can safely jump into a pool with the collar on and can even bathe with it. The transmitter is only resistant to rain and snow; it is not submersible. The device is rechargeable via the USB cable included in the package and lasts 2–3 days in operation.

Collar range

With the PetSafe® 100 collar you can train your dog at a distance of up to 100 m. It is therefore suitable for less demanding training at home or in the garden, where the terrain is not very rugged.

Correction type

PetSafe® 100 is equipped with 3 types of correction: sound, vibration and static stimulation, which you can set on a scale of 15 levels.

Battery and charging

PetSafe® 100 lasts on a single charge for approx. 2 hours and 2–3 days in operation. The device is charged via the USB cable included in the package, and a flashing icon on the receiver will alert you to a low battery.

Waterproofing

PetSafe® 100 is supplied with a fully waterproof and submersible receiver up to 1.5 metres, however for a maximum of 30 minutes, with an IPX7 rating. It is an ideal choice for training dogs in poor conditions (forest, mud, near water) and the dog can run through water. The transmitter on the PetSafe 100 is only resistant to rain and snow.

Number of dogs

The PetSafe® 100 training collar is for training 1 dog only.

Display

The device controller has a backlit digital display that is large, clear and excellent to read. The display shows the correction level, battery status and dog selection, so you can easily orient yourself in case of training 2 dogs.

Collar length

PetSafe® 100 has a very strong, high-quality nylon collar. It does not bother the dog to wear and it holds well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 15 to 71 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The transmitter is 3.9 cm wide, 11.5 cm high, 3 cm deep and weighs 65.2 grams. The receiver is 3.5 cm wide, 6.8 cm high, 2.67 cm deep and weighs 42.5 grams.
