1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed, or the packaging was damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or it was exchanged for a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging, at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; claw scratches are already visible.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15 to 40 days; scratches are very noticeable, or there are tooth marks. It may have been through service/refurbishment.

The warranty period for the “as new” or “unboxed” condition is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” the warranty period is 12 months; for “heavily used” it is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The CANIFUGUE MIX electronic fence from the French company NUM´AXES® is one of the most reliable and time-proven contactless fencing systems in Europe. This invisible fence has been manufactured for its quality for 15 years and has gained many satisfied users over that time. Compared to the lower version, it has an improved base with a digital display, more sensitive warning zone adjustment and a greater range (up to 2,000 metres of installation). CANIFUGUE MIX is suitable for dogs from 5 kg to 50 kg thanks to 8 impulse strength levels. Before the correction zone there is a warning zone. In it, the dog is alerted by a sound that it is approaching a prohibited area. Both areas are adjustable on the base, which is unique among electronic fences. The total area you can restrict for the dog is adjustable from 30 cm to 4 m. The receiver is powered by a 3V CR2 battery, which lasts 3–6 months in continuous operation. On the receiver, under the battery cover, there is a button to change the impulse level. The base, which transmits the signal to the wire, is powered from the mains via an adaptor. You set the size of the warning and correction zones on it.

Zone settings

CANIFUGUE MIX allows you to set the correction and warning zones separately. This is a unique option that other fences do not offer. You can therefore use only a minimal warning zone, which is especially suitable if you have a small plot, the dog digs under the fence, or spends too much time in the warning zone and drains the batteries (which is not unusual).

The zone width is adjustable on the base, ranging from 30 cm to 4 m, depending on the type of installation and wire length.

Correction type

You can set one of 8 impulse levels. This makes it easy to tailor the collar directly to your dog. You can increase or decrease the impulse strength at any time using the switch on the receiver.

Wire included

The basic CANIFUGUE MIX package includes 100 metres of insulated wire with a cross-section of 0.5 mm, which is fully sufficient for most installations. If the wire in the package is not enough, it can be easily extended up to a distance of 2,000 m.

Battery and charging

The CANIFUGUE MIX receiver is powered by a 3V CR2 battery. The battery is easy to access and lasts 3–6 months in normal use. Replacement is easy; it is hidden under a removable cover secured with screws. The base is powered from the mains. A backup power supply with an accumulator can be purchased for operation during a power outage or when mains power is unavailable.

Waterproofing

CANIFUGUE MIX has a fully submersible receiver and is suitable for use in rain and very humid environments. The dog can jump into a swimming pool with the receiver and swim for any length of time. The base is water-resistant; we recommend placing it in a dry environment. It can also be placed outdoors, but so that it is not exposed to rain.

Number of dogs

CANIFUGUE MIX can be used for an unlimited number of dogs. By purchasing additional collars, you can easily expand it.

Collar length

CANIFUGUE MIX has a very strong, high-quality nylon collar. It does not bother the dog to wear it and it holds well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 10 to 70 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The base is 13.1 cm wide, 11.7 cm high and 4.1 cm deep. The receiver is 6.3 cm wide, 4.2 cm high and 3.1 cm deep, and weighs 82 grams.
