PetSafe door with microchip

The PetSafe Smart Chip Door works with RFID technology and senses your pet's chip, allowing them easy access to the outside world. At the same time, they prevent unwanted pets from entering your home.

Using RFID technology, the PetSafe microchip door senses your pet's ID microchip and no additional collar or tag is required. When your pet approaches the door, the technology reads the ID chip and the flap opens. The door will not allow entry to other animals whose chip is not programmed for entry.

The microchip door is designed with a convenient 4-way manual locking feature that allows you to control access and movement of your animals programmed microchips.

The door reads the most common type of DX-B microchip (15 digits). If you are not sure what type of microchip your animal has, try checking the microchip compatibility directly on the supplier's website and enter the microchip ID to verify that your microchip is compatible with the door.
