1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed; alternatively, the packaging may have been damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or was exchanged by a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging and may have at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15–40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have been serviced/refurbished.

The warranty period for “as new” or “unboxed” condition is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” goods the warranty is 12 months; for “heavily used” goods it is 6 months. The product can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

The PetSafe® Anti-Bark Collar is designed with 15 levels of static stimulation to help discourage barking and whining. It detects barking using a reliable combination of vocal cord vibrations and a microphone, preventing unwanted activation by surrounding noises. The stimulation level increases automatically with each detected bark until the barking stops. Static stimulation is unpleasant for dogs, but safe. A built-in safety feature automatically switches the collar off for 3 minutes if your dog barks more than 15 times within 80 seconds. The collar adapts to your dog’s temperament. Stimulation automatically decreases when barking is less frequent. The PetSafe® anti-bark collar is an excellent choice for more sensitive dogs weighing at least 3.6 kg. The collar uses a replaceable RFA18-11 battery and lasts 3–6 months in operation.

Bark detection

The collar recognises barking or howling using a built-in microphone or vocal cord vibrations. Sound and vibration sensors ensure the collar activates only when the dog is actually barking.

Correction type

The PetSafe collar offers 15 levels of static stimulation. A built-in safety feature automatically switches the collar off for 3 minutes if your dog barks more than 15 times within 80 seconds. The collar adapts to your dog’s temperament. Stimulation automatically decreases when barking is less frequent.

Collar settings

The intensity of the electrostatic pulse is available in 15 adjustable levels. From 15 pulse strength levels, you can easily choose the optimal one for your dog.

Battery and charging

The PetSafe® collar is powered by a replaceable RFA18-11 battery. The battery lasts approximately 3–6 months. At the beginning of using the collar, the battery typically lasts around 30–45 days depending on how often the collar is used during training. We recommend buying quality alkaline batteries such as Energizer for the collar.

Waterproofing

The PetSafe anti-bark collar is fully waterproof and submersible up to 1 metre with an IPX7 rating. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Your dog can safely jump into the pool with the collar on or bathe with it without you having to worry about the device working afterwards.

Breed

The PetSafe® collar has a very small and lightweight receiver, making it ideal even for smaller dog breeds. We recommend this collar for all dogs weighing from 3.6 kg. For very small dogs, the highest impulse levels may be too strong.

Collar length

The PetSafe collar has a very strong, high-quality nylon strap. Wearing it does not bother the dog and it stays well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable up to 68 cm.
